Re: Build up augmentative

I understand what you say but try to make an actual example to see that this can't be really done and make sense. Consider you have variable-length hit sequences to understand the actual problem here. Which is the sorting criterion? Present an example with 3 different GAT sequences to demonstrate wh...

Re: Build up augmentative

Try to give a detailed example of how you could do that, what you request. Describe the whole approach to the panorama, what you look for, how you classify and sort each GAT in the panorama. If we utilize the augmentative mechanism we don't talk about building up hits production anymore. Can you tel...

Re: Build up augmentative

The whole point of build-up is to detect an always increasing hit sequence. The sequence 3,4,6,3 is not an increasing sequence. The current buildup implementation decided on this classification mechanism so to actually be able and somehow sort GATs to display. Of course there will be GATs that resul...

Re: New GAT 2.2 coming soon!

The very first GAT #1 computed has a very basic such analysis of randomness. It passes its own understanding of randomness to GAT#2 which refines this randomness further. This goes on and on for as long as we want it to. So each GAT X actually represents a set of signatures as evolved and influence...

Re: New GAT 2.2 coming soon!

There isn't any optimal run-time, the more you let the engine run the more chances to trap an even better overall performing GAT to use. There is some slight speed increase in GAT 3.0 vs older versions due to internal improvements but the same advice still apply. Most runs are in the range of a coup...

Re: GAT lists of different fields

GAT 3.0 separates the retained GATs and all the parameters actually. At the options, at the engine tab the very first parameter "select the field" controls that separation. Prior to GAT 3.0, the user would have to keep a note on the retained GATs if he wanted to make a run at the other field (either...

Tutorial - Typical usage examples of GAT Engine

This question comes up regularly, so it could be a good idea to post some general usage ideas of this program. First, we need to clarify that the engine will never stop scanning; the process is open ended and means it will always scan to find even better overall solutions. So, no popup message will ...

Re: History Performance in original order too

Generally speaking the GAT application will provide better results overall. The online system is a best effort attempt to make scans in a limited time to make results available. It would be strange if it was the other way around. I cannot suggest what settings to use in GAT as is. Given each game is...

New Wheel Generator 1.8.5.1 and GAT Engine 3.0.2 versions

New versions of these programs were made available today. The changes mostly include known bug-fixes. Most notably, we hopefully have addressed this error message "Ordinal X not found" which shows up on some installations. Please let us know if you had that error and if it is gone after this update....

Re: Filter when k <> m

This has been already answered at my first reply, the logic behind these constructions. If it can be made or not, entirely depends on what blocks are allowed or not by the filters. One quick way to see if it can be made to 100% is to add quite more blocks than needed for the unconditional case. This...
